This single, not released by Jamiroquai or Sony, is a collaboration between Jay Kay and Jools Holland and his "Rhythm & Blues Orchestra."
Jools Holland is a well respected UK recording artist and television presenter. He also has his own "Rhythm & Blues Orchestra" (since 1982) with whom ex Jamiroquai trombonist Winston Rollins is a part of.
I'm In The Mood For Love features Jay Kay on vocals and is a track originally recorded for the movie "Kevin & Perry Go Large." The track also appears on the "Hop The Wag" and "Small World Big Band" albums released by Jools Holland in November 2000 and 2001 respectively.
Tracks two and three on this single do not feature Jamiroquai. The single entered the UK singles chart at 29 and stayed in the top 75 for three weeks.
This promo CDR contains the song "I'm In The Mood For Love" as released on the official single except that someone (not Jay) speaks for 2 seconds prior to the track (maybe it's the song as it appears on Jools Holland's "Hop the Wag" album). The track lasts 3.17 but contains about 4 or 5 seconds of silence. The song actually lasts about 3.12.
