14 December London concert live online broadcast

After playing a number of dates across Europe since early November the final date of the tour is coming up soon.

On Sunday 14th December the bands final concert of the Heels of Steel Tour will be broadcast live online from the London O2 Arena - and you can purchase tickets to the online stream at Lounges.tv and be able to watch the concert live or on demand for up to 48 hours after.

If the previous dates are anything to go by this will be something special - as the band have been performing for over two hours each night. It's nearly time to get that Canned Heat in your heels and start dancing...

Live at Maida Vale 2006 release for Record Store Day 2024

Australian concert audio broadcast

An hour of Jamiroquai's concert from Adelaide in Australia at the end of October 2023 has been broadcast on Double J radio in Australia. It is now available to listen to at the ABC website for the next month or so.

J-Files Australian Jamiroquai radio special

Back in 2002 Australian radio station Triple J broadcast a three hour Jamiroquai special whilst the band were on tour in the country. In advance of the band returning to Australia later this month for the Harvest Rock II festival in Adelaide another Jamiroquai special radio show was broadcast on the Double J sister radio station on 5th October. The hour long show is available to listen to at the ABC Australia website.

Australian festival date announced for October 2023

Jamiroquai will be performing in Adelaide (Australia) on Saturday 28 October on the first day of the Harvest Rock II Festival. The festival website states that this is Jamiroquai's only Australian show.

Travelling Without Moving 'Twitter Listening Party'

On Monday 23rd January at 8pm (UK time) there will be a 'Twitter Listening Party' for the 1996 album Travelling Without Moving featuring Jay Kay. From my understanding you listen to the album at home and there will be a number of tweets throughout the playback from Jay (and others). Check out timstwitterlisteningparty.com to enjoy playbacks of previous listening parties of other artists albums.

Now, if you fancy getting involved in real life there will be 'Dolby Atmos listening experience' in central London along with sound engineer Rick Pope, drummer Derrick McKenzie and percussionist Sola Akingbola and you can win tickets here.

Official website relaunch

Jamiroquai have launched a new website at jamiroquai.com - and at last they have a 'secure certificate'! The previous site launched in March 2017 and as per usual outside of music release cycles soon went a bit static and out of date (hmn, a bit like funkin.com at times!!) but it's back and looks to be under the ownership and control of Sony Music.

It's always good to see the site updated which normally means there's a bit of money being used for marketing - and with the recent announcements of Summer 2023 tourdates it looks like the band may have a busy Summer ahead next year.
