Live recording of DGHAC...nearly!

Added on Wednesday 16 November 2005, 22:10 (GMT)

Looking at the New Music Friday website - a site run by Sony BMG UK to showcase new music, they recently promoted the UK single release of (Don't) Give Hate A Chance.  In their description of the UK single release they wrote:

"The single is also backed with killer remixes by Steve Mac and The Freemasons and an electrifying live version of Don’t Give Hate A Chance , recorded on the bands huge summer tour."

Reading this, for some unknown reason, we were almost treated to a live recording of (Don't) Give Hate A Chance on the CD single.  I guess we'll never know why it didn't happen, but it is interesting to see that at least there were plans to give the fans some of what we want - official high quality live recordings.

wow anyone heard the live recording yet

If they only understood how hearing live tracks brings back so many good memories from the live shows... especially for those of us who've been fortunate enough to see them perform live! I'd absolutely buy live CD's if they were out there, and as many have said before, I wish they'd adopt a policy of allowing (or soundboard recording!) their live shows like other acts do.

Yup Jay. And as someone who has not been a part of the Dynamite tour, I know I would kill for a live version of Use The Force because from what I've heard, it sounds wicked... the whole setlist sounds wicked, even on audience recordings (yes Sony, we do get to hear the stuff, even though you don't want us to).

I still can't believe how bad the promo for this album was. Got MTV, MTV 2, MTV Hits, MTV Base at home and haven't seen a single Jamiroquai video these past 6 months. And I think I've seen SDISJ's video only 3 times on French TV, all channels combined.

I guess Sony is too busy postponing the release of the PS3... THAT, they're very good at!

Almost there. I`ll wait and see what happens with the 4th single(if there is one).Remix free???

If we do get a fourth single they simply have to put live recordings on there. Shoot The Moon would be nice!
