After watching the full video I have changed my mind of it. It builds up alot near the end, speeds up and gets more exciting. The 1 minute clip off cd:uk didnt give it justice. Only critisim I have is the radio edit cuts some good parts out of the song, but other han that. Another original video from Jamiroquai is what made me fall in love with them the first place.
Keep up the good work
PLEASE BLACK DEVIL CAR 4TH SINGLEE

Yeh jay driving again would be cool. Maybe he can sit paul turner next to him and he can copy Stuart Zenders reaction to Jays driving, as a small joke. lol But the enzo must feature and the whole band needs to be in the video.

There is one part of the video I dont quite understand
It is the 2D part from 2:50 - to around 3:20. When the group of beared "men" are gathered and one of them walks away. Then a group of non beared "men" are there and one walks away. The bearded guys turns to black and dies and the white one does too. What is that supposed to represent??

yea i agree funkstar i didnt get this bit either,, somebody please explain!!! other that this though i thaught the video was excellent i especially like the bit where everybody is dancing in circles on the different raised platforms!! neat! ('' ,)

Yeah, i liked it from the small clipi saw and now seeing it in full i love it! Its great, so cool and funky and the messages given are cleverly put out from the song into the vid.

Dont really understand the inspiration behind it and i thought it mite of been The same as the Video But not Animated. Also whats With the Gorrila's???

Keep It Funky :)

Pretty cool! Great design, great characters, but it lacks a little bit punch for this song and it's a bit repetitve: only two or three scene with different characters. Anyway, it's so different from the old clip but I like it sooo much! One more time Jay, you've got a great idea!!! Cheers everyone.

i watch de video and i really like all the images...
and i agree,i want the next single will be black devil car

I liked the fist part of the video, when the soldiers and the gorillas start dancing, it's so cool! But I didn't like the song cuts. Anyway the video it's cool!

Nice video (and commited). The Jay´s puppet is so nice to. He moving exactly Jay !!!

So does anyone know the meaning of the part I mentioned before in the video.??

Fantastic video, really loved it! I think it gets the message across very nicely. Found it rather amusing that all the little guys (including Jay) look like a certain part of the male anatomy (or is that just mine and my husbands small minds at work???).Only thing I have to say is that like a few others I'm not that impressed with the song cuts.

Was not impressed. They have the right idea but it could have been executed so much better. This is such an amazing song that a video with more energy would have done it justice... Who has been advising them on what videos to use for their songs?

Funkstar, The song is about people of different races getting along and loving each other. The video sequence you mention is showing how the charecters react when they meet others who are different to thenselves, hence the title (Don't give hate a chance) - Get along with everyone - JK said this himself at his Sheffield concert recently.

I know Keyser. I think you have got it wrong. Yes I understand that part when the certain races, groups are pointed out. Its the part when the group of guys with beards and white gilligan hats on are in a group. And one of then walks away and turns black??

this is not ment to be racist in any way and i don't want to offend anyone, but all i could figure out is that they are bad men(terrorists)- come on,it pretty ovious who it's ment to be(well to me anyway) and they get fried for being bad???again no offence to anyone

Keep It funky :)

Wow, the buffalo man's dancing looks so natural they must have stuffed JK in a motion capture studio or something :)

And Claudia, I agree that it just misses a little power... some X-factor or something. I do really like the video though, I have always fancied funky colors and white outlines :)

Yes, they did stuff Jay in motion capture suit to animate the doll. He said as much in the recent CD:UK interview. I liked the video a lot. Very powerful images to match message. I especially liked the little dancing Jay Kay doll. My wife would love to have one of those. OK, OK, I would like one as well. :) BTW, I am going to SF (from Portland, OR) to see Jamiroquai at the Fillmore 11/6. I am all funked-up for that. CAN'T WAIT!

OK. The video is alright. I also agree with some of you about the part with the raising platforms and the gorillas. I just love that part!!! Definetely there had to be dancing in this video, though I would have loved to see the real Jay perform some cool moves under disco lights, I guess it's only a matter of time to see that in a video. FUNKSTAR...About your question(I've been doing a great deal of thinking about this, my own interpretation) I think that first we get to see the non-bearded men are together (in a group) and then when one of them separates from the group (as it happens with the bearded man)...he dies...I think this means that we are strong when we are in groups or hang out in groups, we have more confidence when we are in groups, but when we are alone we tend to be reserved and open to the possibility of being hurt and offended by other groups. This is funny because this is exactly the kind of feeling that comes to my mind when thinking about discrimination and stuff like that. This part in particular can have many interpretations, I guess that's the real purpose of the video. I'm glad I can share my interpretation with you people. Well I hope some of you agree about this idea and I also hope you can have some other interpretations you can come up with, it would be great. And the next single...BLACK DEVIL CAR sounds great for a single...but DYNAMITE must not be overlooked by any means...Dynamite is quite frankly one of Jamiroquai's best songs ever...we all know that so a video for this song will make many of us happy. THANK YOU FOR YOUR MUSIC JAMIROQUAI!!! JAMIROQUAI RULEZZZZ!!!
