This version of the single first appeared on an (unofficial) music pay-download site in the Netherlands in late August 2010. The following day it appeared on the Amazon and Virgin download stores in France.
The UK iTunes store had this release available from 31 October 2010 and the single entered the official UK singles chart on 7 November at number 39.
The 'Jamiroquai' text is white, 'White Knuckle Ride' in a metallic green and buffalo man image in reflective silver (which does not show in the scan).
This promotional CDR first appeared in the last week of August 2010.
This DJ exclusive CDR appeared in early September 2010. It contains a remix of the track by Alan Braxe, although his name is mistakenly spelled as 'Alex Braxe' on the tracklist. Alan has previously remixed Jamiroquai tracks Alright and Runaway.
This is a 'silver' CD and not a CDR.
Originally announced as a limited edition release and available to pre-order on stores such as HMV.com, this release was put back from a November 2010 release and then the date at HMV.com was updated to 1 January 2011. At the start of the new year HMV updated the availability status to 'sorry this title is deleted.'
