As announced previously, Jay will be a special guest on the BBC Radio 1 Vernon Kaye show this coming Saturday morning.  London newspaper thelondonpaper on Monday printed a short article about Jay recently inviting Vernon and his wife Tess Daly (co-host of BBC TV show Strictly Come Dancing - where Jamiroquai performed recently) round for Sunday lunch... 

Tess Daly and Vernon Kaye have no shortage of invites to dinner.  Last week theBuzz revealed that Tess had shared supper with Prime Minister Tony Blair and his wife Cherie at Chequers, and now we can report the Northern couple have had Sunday lunch with Jamiroquai's Jay Kay at his Buckinghamshire mansion.

"Only last weekend I prepared a beautiful piece of organic port with all the trimmings," Jay proudly told us.  "Vernon Kay and Tess Daly live just down the road from me, so I invited them over."  He also disclosed that the afternoon was rounded off with a game of snooker - and that he beat Vernon.
