I've just had an update from Derrick, which re-iterates much of what he has written in his latest blog entry...

We have Germany coming up this week and we are all looking forward to doing this gig as it's a massive one sorry make that two massive gigs.

I have been busy this week programming my computer and trying to work up some new ideas, but man i have had a bit of a mental block this week not until yesterday where i had two ideas on the go!!!!!! It was fantastic, i am seriously thinking about doing some drum clinics towards the back end of this year and then to arrange some to coincide with our greatest hits tour next year.  I will ask a couple of the guys to join me and we will do a little mini show with i hope some original material thrown in also.  But this is just in theory i will be working on this over the next couple of months. Also just wanted to say a big thank to all of you who are visiting my myspace page, and i have put another tune on their for your entertainment please feel free to listen to it.

Really looking forward to playing in germany again doing another gig.  Roll on July for the Lovebox gig that is going to be a mad mad mad day. Anyway lovely people you all take care for now much love and respect Derrick

In addition to talk of some drum clinics later this year/early next year, it looks like there are plans for a "Greatest Hits Tour" next year.  Sounds like another busy year for Jamiroquai...
