Rob Harris website relaunch and new AOL session

Added on Tuesday 30 May 2006, 06:49 (UTC)
After opening the doors to his own website in September 2005, Jamiroquai guitarist Rob Harris has once again re-launched the site with a new design.  He announces it on his blog...

So, i just noticed that my new site is up and online.I had a good friend of mine ( the guy who did the last one) re-do it cos to be honest my attempt was pretty bad.Web design is not my cup of tea as many of you have noticed lol.I'm pleased with how the revised site looks and i promise to try to keep on top of myself to keep it updated regularly.

In addition to the website re-launch, he also writes on his blog about a new session that the band recorded for AOL following last weeks Rock in Rio concert in Portugal.  He writes...

I don't know if anyone has seen it yet but we did a little aftershow session for AOL in which we played Black Crow and LoveFool in this small portacabin on the festival site.We were a little apprehensive about it when we entered the room but they had a drum kit, guitar and bass amps and a keyboard set up too.Lots of fun, both Matt and Paul did a great job seeing as they'd never played Black Crow before.Actually we haven't played that tune for at least 3 maybe 4 years. We also did a little twist on Love Fool breaking into Curtis Mayfield territory.

There's plenty more to read to check out the all new Rob-Harris.co.uk and also Rob's MySpace blog.

Finally, I don't believe these new AOL session recordings are online yet (unless someone tells me otherwise) but videos of Canned Heat, Cosmic Girl and Space Cowboy from Rock in Rio are currently available to watch at the AOL website.
