Update from Sola

Added on Saturday 03 December 2005, 08:07 (GMT)

Jamiroquai percussionist Sola Akingbola has sent another email to his mailing list talking about what he's been doing to relax whilst preparing for Saturdays 20,000 person Centennial Park concert in Sydney...

"Just spent a couple of much needed days off staying with good friends who own a small piece of paradise - a house on the shores of Lake McQuarie in New South Wales, Australia; we went out in the speed boat, swam in the sea, cooked and just chilled out playing with the kids and having some honest to goodness, down to earth fun."

Sola has also been performing ("solo percussion jam") at Sydney night club Tank, and it looks like he'll be performing there again after Saturday's Sydney concert.

Please visit SolaAkingbola.com to sign up to his mailing list, read his fantastic tour "blog" and listen to music from his Tank Tribe project.

Hey girls! A bit of juicy gossip!
Just got back from Tank. Sola's performance was amazing. But I saw J.K. smooching with some girl around. I wonder if that is his new girlfriend or he is just a total flirt? I would have jumped on him myself, but I was too late. Anyway, I'm going to the next gig, so hopefully I can squeeeze (him) backstage!
Bye!
