It's not all bad news in the charts after (Don't) Give Hate A Chance entered the Official UK Singles Chart at number 27 - in the Smash Hits Chart the single entered at 16, and in the hit40uk chart it entered at number 15.

These two charts take airplay (including video airplay) into account, and not just sales data.
