In an interview for UK television show Fifth Gear as part of the promotional work for the Electronic Arts Need For Speed Most Wanted driving game, Jay revealed that he no longer owns his Aston Martin DB5 motor car.

When asked if he has any new car purchases on the horizon he replied:

"No, I've just bought a '73 Porche RS. Its really nice. A very useable classic as opposed to something which is... you know. I've sold my Aston which I'm still crying about..."

When asked what his dream car is, Jay replied:

"The one car I would love to own before I die is a short wheel based 250 GT California Spyder, one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made, but then again I could go on and on with that list."
