This is a reminder that tomorrow (Wednesday 14 September), Jay will be at the Orange mobile phone shop at 71 Kings Road in London (England), to launch the new eagerly awaited Jamiroquai limited edition K600i 3G handset from Sony Ericsson on Orange.

In addition, please keep visiting funkin.com as we will be running a competition to win a limited edition Jamiroquai K600i handset courtesy of Sony Ericsson.  The competition should be online later this evening (Tuesday).

Here are the details of exactly where and when, if you want to come along to meet Jay on Wednesday:

  • Date: Wednesday 14 September 2005
  • Time: 11:45 until 13.00
  • Address: Orange Shop, 71 Kings Road, London SW3 4NX

This will be very similar to the launch of the Sony Ericsson W800i Walkman phone where Jay met fans and signed autographs on 12 August at the Carphone Warehouse store in central London.

Jay is becoming a seller for Orange company! It's a bad bad thing! Hey mister Jason Kay, wake up man! You're still the Space Cowboy, not the market sheriff! You're an artist, the greatest and the funkiest. When I see that,I Just think about Starchild sentence:" Can you take the money, can you take the money...

alot of phones are coming out linked to jamiroquai which is good to promote the new album, but like ya say it aint always a good thing!

Yeah i agree with the views of Funkadellic but hant Sony been doin this before? On its Playstation game Singstar Party it has Cosmic girl and on its Eyetoy Groove game Deeper Underground and Canned Heat, being the second other artist on that game to have 2 tracks (the other being Elvis. I think it a continuation but in a diff form.

I was lucky to meet Jay Kay again yesterday in the Orange shop in Kings Road after meeting him after his gig in Manchester on Saturday night..he is such a nice guy! Long live the buffalo man!

I also met Jay yesterday! He signed a picture from the sheperds bush gig as well as Emergency On Planet Earth album and Blow Your Mind single which is one of my favourite tunes. I showed him my buffalo tattoo on my leg and he loved it! He said it was very unique and he hasn't seen one like it before, he then got me to show it to his bodyguard, I really do think he was impressed. I got a number of pics with him too and my girlfriend won a signed copy of Dynamite. What a day it was!! Loved every second of it.

that's a dope story rich. i'm glad you all had a good time at the meet and greet.

Fantastic stories. Keep em coming. I'm hoping to get some photos for the site soon from the people running the event. Fingers crossed....
