50th most important man in music!

In a survey conducted for British music television channel VH1, Jay Kay is the 50th "most important man in music" (whatever that means!) The "100 Greatest Men" chart is being shown all this week on VH1 in the UK.

Jamiroquai failed to win in either of their two nominations (Best Jungle Act and Best Music Video) in the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards today in 1996. You Give Me Something was released in the UK this week in 2001.
