At the DanceStar 2000 Awards held Thursday night, Jamiroquai won the award for Best Dance Video (Canned Heat). Derrick McKenzie accepted the award on behalf of the fans and here is a RealAudio clip (lifted from the live stream) of his acceptance speech (audio no longer available). Masters at Work lost out to William Orbit in the Best Producer category.
