The Sunday Observer newspaper (UK) report saying that Jay is the 7th richest pop millionaire (and 8th richest entertainer) says the following: "Lead singer of Jamiroquai and fiance to the inexhaustible Denise Van Outen, Jay Kay has been one of the big sellers of the past decade. Confidence and magnitude have followed him since his signing to Sony on an eight-album deal in 1993. He scooped a £100,000 advance on the strength of one song. His second album, Travelling Without Moving, sold seven million copies worldwide, while the current LP, Synkronized, has been number one in most European countries and exceeded sales of four million. Extensive touring has earned him £2m, while his net wealth is augmented by Horsenden Manor in Buckinghamshire, valued at close to £2m, and a fleet of cars worth £1.5m.
