Jamiroquai were recently nominated for awards at the first ever Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards for Best Jungle Act (Do You Know Where You're Coming From) and Best Music Video (Virtual Insanity). Unfortunately the band did not win either category.

Deeper Underground gave Jamiroquai their first number 1 UK single today in 1998 selling 89,000 copies in its first week of release. This same day in 1997, the band were entertaining the crowds at the UK Pheonix Festival.
