A message I read a couple of days ago on the Acid Jazz Mailing List said that Australian Funk Bass player Alex Hewetson (ex d.i.g basser) got a callup to fly to London to tryout for the vacant position in Jamiroquai's lineup.

Jamiroquai failed to win in either of their two nominations (Best Jungle Act and Best Music Video) in the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards today in 1996. You Give Me Something was released in the UK this week in 2001.
