Deeper Underground fell from the UK number 1 chart position to number 5 on Sunday. According to the official figures, Deeper Underground sold 89,000 copies in its first week compared with the Spice Girls, who this week knocked Jamiroquai off the top spot with 277,000 sales! In the number two slot this week was Will Smith who managed to sell less copies than Jamiroquai did in their first week of release.
Travelling Without Moving was at number two in the UK album charts this week in 1996. Supersonic, the second single to be taken from Synkronized, was released this week in the UK in 1999. A Funk Odyssey was at number one this week in 2001.
