Jamiroquai DRM-free digital tracks...

Added on Thursday 16 November 2006, 12:04 (UTC)

Here's a small piece of news that is printed in the current issue of Music Week:

"Sony BMG is playing down the significance of its first DRM-free releases in the UK after inadvertently making available 30 Jamiroquai tracks without any such encoding in a promotion with O2 and Nokia.  The major [record label] says the move only came about because of a last-minute realisation that DRM [Digital Rights Management] encoding would not be possible to make the tracks available on Nokia handsets."
