This site is happy (well, almost!) to mention both the good and the bad press that is reported about the band so here's some not-so-good information... In the January issue of the American Music Magazine "SPIN", Jamiroquai is mentioned in "The Year in Music 1997 Scrapbook" bit. There's a picture of Jay featured, and the bit reads: "Almost no attention was paid when Jamiroquai released their third album. Jay Kay's stovepipe hat was still in place, his band's jazz-funk fusion was still an irritant, and he still sang cosmic gibberish in an affected yowl. Third time - plus an elegantly disorienting video - was the charm."
