During the first few years of this site a guitar tab section was on the site, but I decided to take it offline at the start of last year.  Although there's the great bass transcription books (and some free to download tabs) available from Simon Merrick's site, there still isn't a permanent home for fan created bass tabs out there.

There are a handful of guitar tabs available at the PowerTabs.net site, but are there any other communities out there for people to share transcriptions?
