The band have now finished their Travelling Without Moving world tour which started at the London Notting Hill Carnival on 26 August 1996 and ended last night (Sunday) at Battersea Power Station in London. This has been Jamiroquai's busiest tour and to the relief of the band, they now get some time off. At last night's concert Jay said that they wouldn't be playing live for quite a while after the touring schedule that they've done recently. This final event was in aid of two charities - the Marcia Lawes Campaign, and Tusk Force.
Travelling Without Moving was at number two in the UK album charts this week in 1996. Supersonic, the second single to be taken from Synkronized, was released this week in the UK in 1999. A Funk Odyssey was at number one this week in 2001.
