Latin American Tour Update #3

Added on Saturday 01 April 2006, 08:12 (UTC)

Here is an update from the recent Latin American tour.  On Thursday night Jamiroquai performed at the Parque Jaime Duque in Bogota (Colombia).  After excellent ticket sales the concert was moved to this much larger venue and looking at the following set list and what people have been saying, the band really put on a great performance...

  • Canned Heat, Space Cowboy, Cosmic Girl, Corner Of The Earth, Revolution 1993, Little L, Seven Days In Sunny June, You Give Me Something, Dynamite, Use The Force, Black Capricorn Day, Love Foolosophy/Time Won't Wait, (Don't) Give Hate A Chance, Virtual Insanity, Alright, Deeper Underground

According to the set lists on the live page (which are not 100% accurate and there are a few concerts missing!) it is interesting to see tracks such as Virtual Insanity (last performed in Paris, France in September 2005) and Corner Of The Earth (last performed in Rome, Italy in July 2005) re-appear mid-tour.

The Yahoo! Entertainment website has a photo of Jay from the gig, and there are many other photos and reviews from this and other recent concerts at the Jam Party People and Jamirotalk forums.  There are also a number of photos from some of the recent concerts in the live gallery here at funkin.com.

Additionally, whilst in Colombia, Jay was interviewed for radio station W Radio, and the interview can be heard online at the W Radio website.

Feel free to post your reviews of any of the recent concerts as a comment to this news item.

The remaining dates of this tour leg are Costa Rica on Saturday and Mexico on Wednesday.
