JAY KAY ATTACKS PHOTOGRAPHER AFTER RELATIONSHIP ROW

JAMIROQUAI frontman JAY KAY and two friends allegedly attacked a photographer outside a London club last night (14JAN06), after the singer accused the snapper of wrecking his lovelife. Paparazzo DENNIS GILL was outside trendy nightspot Koko when Kay and his pals reportedly assaulted him, causing damage to his camera and injuring his hand. Kay blamed Gill for causing his split from TV beauty DENISE VAN OUTEN, as Gill had snapped Kay leaving a club with another woman five years ago (01). Gill says, "He shouted, 'It's your fault me and my love Denise split up. I f**king hate you.' "There were three of them coming at me giving me a proper kicking, so I just ran. "They were pulling at my camera, kicking me and Jay hit me in the head and legs a few times. "I've been to the police and I want him to be charged with criminal damage, theft and assault." A police spokesman confirms, "We are investigating an incident that occurred at 2am outside Koko Club in London.
