Here's a summary of some of the chart positions for Dynamite from around the world after its first week of release:
- Argentina - 1 (25 June)
- Australia - 3 (27 June)
- Switzerland - 3 (26 June)
- Italy - 3 (23 June)
- Netherlands - 5 (28 June)
- New Zealand - 18 (27 June)
- Ireland - 27 (23 June)
Unfortunately, it's looking like Dynamite won't be moving up the Official UK album chart this week. Music Week reported the following regarding the current midweek sales figures...
"In the albums market, James Blunt is edging closer to Coldplay's number one spot, with just a couple of thousand sales between the Parlophone and Atlantic acts. Sales of Blunt's album Back To Bedlam have rocketed by 63% thanks to a well-received Glastonbury appearance at the weekend."
For information, Coldplay has so far sole 37,000 copies and James Blunt 35,000. Jamiroquai is currently at number 4 in the midweek charts.
