Charity signed pillowcase for auction

Added on Saturday 18 June 2005, 18:45 (UTC)

UK charity Shelter has teamed up with furniture people Hammonds in a unique scheme called ‘Pillow Talk’ to raise money to help fund Shelter’s vital work with homeless and badly housed families and children.  Jay Kay is one of many stars who have signed pillowcases currently being auctioned in aid of the charity.

The auction is being co-ordinated online through LBC London radio and bids started on 17 June.  All proceeds from the auction will go to Shelter. To bid for a pillow and help raise money for Shelter visit www.lbc973.co.uk/pillow.

Jamiroquai have a long lasting association with Shelter, including back in December 1999 when the concert held at the Shepherds Bush Empire in London was in aid of the charity.
