Winston Rollins, who played on tour with Jamiroquai for a number of years has recently been co-writing an album of funky music under the name "real". In addition to Winston, ex Jamiroquai live keyboard player Simon Carter is part of the line-up. The music has an old-style Jamiroquai and Brand New Heavies feel to it (with a brass section, you just can't go wrong) and after watching their most recent gig in London, I highly recommend them. The album is due out in the next couple of months, and an EP is available to download now via iTunes, with samples and more information available on the Real website.

Jamiroquai failed to win in either of their two nominations (Best Jungle Act and Best Music Video) in the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards today in 1996. You Give Me Something was released in the UK this week in 2001.
