Further to the news back in September that Jay has created a go-kart track in the grounds of his home, on Thursday (18th), approval from the local council for this work was granted. According to contactmusic.com, permission has been granted provided that it is used no more than 14 times a year. This is due to complaints from those living nearby regarding noise polution and that what has been built is "a full blown dirt race track." I guess that's a few less Christmas cards for Jay this year!
