This is just a quick message to wish a happy 40th birthday to drummer Derrick McKenzie for today (Saturday). Derrick is one of the longest serving members of Jamiroquai and is responsible for giving us some amazing funky beats over the years. Congratulations.

Jamiroquai failed to win in either of their two nominations (Best Jungle Act and Best Music Video) in the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards today in 1996. You Give Me Something was released in the UK this week in 2001.
