The competition to win copies of the newly released LateNightTales Jamiroquai compilation album recently closed and here are the answers to the questions: Which remix of a Jamiroquai track is as one journalist and DJ described it, "a deep house journey every bit as emotive as a Mr. Fingers"? The answer to this was "Alright - Version Excursion", and could be found on the LateNightTales web site. The second question was: Which member of Jamiroquai introduced Jay to one of the bands featured on the LateNightTales album? The answer to this was "Derrick McKenzie" - in the sleeve notes to the album, which were available on this site, alongside track 8, the following text appears "Kleeer - Tonight's The Night - Derek Mckenzie, my drummer, turned me onto Kleer. I think the bass player was the main writer and the bass is what I love." Thank you to everyone who entered and congratulations go to the following winners, who are: James Carter, Jeff Wieland, Andrew Lane, Julie Eymann and Jonas Nilsson. Congratulations. For those who didn't win, don't forget that the album is out now.
The Singles Collection, a Canadian 5 single wooden box set was released this week in 1997. In 1998, Deeper Underground dropped to number 5 in the UK singles chart. Today in 2001, Jamiroquai performed Little L on Top Of The Pops (UK).
