An interview with Rob and Nick shortly after the Asia/Australia tour at the start of this year appears in the July issue of Guitarist magazine (UK). In the interview, which also has some nice photos of the two of them, Rob talks about his two years in Jamiroquai and how he started just as A Funk Odyssey was being recorded and was suprised by the amount of writing credit he contributed to the album. They also talk about the kit they play with and how everything they ever do in the studio is recorded, so that they can always go back and find any funky grooves that may otherwise have been forgotten. All of the band are also now equipped with Apple laptop computers so they can write, develop and remember ideas whilst they are out on the road.

Jamiroquai failed to win in either of their two nominations (Best Jungle Act and Best Music Video) in the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards today in 1996. You Give Me Something was released in the UK this week in 2001.
