On Saturday afternoon a few good friends, my wife and I went along to the filming of the Re:Covered television show in West London where Jamiroquai were one of the acts performing. The band performed two tracks completely live (ie., no playback) and these were Love Foolosophy - which was a very nice slow and gentle version, similar to the Mondo Grosso acoustic version, but with all the band playing, and a cover of Love Is The Drug, which was originally recorded by Roxy Music in the 1970's. For those wondering, Simon Carter played keyboards during both tracks, and the performance also welcomed the return of the brass instrument section. The show will be broadcast on BBC Choice (UK) in about 6 weeks time and you'll be able to find the actual broadcast date on this site nearer the time.

Jamiroquai failed to win in either of their two nominations (Best Jungle Act and Best Music Video) in the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) awards today in 1996. You Give Me Something was released in the UK this week in 2001.
