Ex Jamiroquai band members and Gorillaz

Dotmusic printed a story earlier in the week about Damon Albarn and Gorillaz, and although not explicitely mentioned as such, it seems that ex Jamiroquai members Simon Katz and Mike Smith are possibly members of the group.

On a cold winter evening in 1997, Jamiroquai played a one-off concert at Battersea Power Station in London, their last live concert for over 18 months whilst the band entered the studio to record Synkronized.
