In the January 2002 issue of Mixmag magazine (UK) there is a two page interview with Jay. In it, he talks about remixes ("I can't stand it when a remix bears no relation to the original"), his first ever gig, partying in Ibiza during the summer of 2001 and how he finds it difficult to go to night clubs in the UK.

Jamiroquai's third album, Travelling Without Moving, was released in Japan this week in 1996. In 2001, Jamiroquai played a private gig at the Monkey Club in Paris, France to promote the new album. A Funk Odyssey was released in the UK today in 2001.
