Derrick and Sola are interviewed in the January 2002 issue of Rhythm magazine (UK) which is out now. In the article they talk about how the album is recorded and also give their thoughts on the beats behind seven of the tracks on A Funk Odyssey. One interesting point in the article is when Derrick says "It's important to understand the the intention and direction of a Jamiroquai album is wholy and solely with Jay, and the rest of us are there to do our thing around him."
