BBC, Ananova and Billboard amongst others report that at Bow Street Magistrates Court in London on Monday, Jay Kay pleaded not guilty to charges of common assault and criminal damage. The case was adjourned for a further hearing on October 22 for which Jay does not need to attend. The court heard that a trial date will be set at a later time.
