This weekend is the annual Notting Hill Carnival in London and in Thursday's Evening Standard newspaper they look back at carnival over the years. For 1996 they say, "Jamiroquai perform at the pinnacle of their career, with vocalist Jay Kay sporting an array of oversized headgear and sliding around the stage using his trademark moonwalk shuffle." The Singles Collection, a Canadian 5 single wooden box set was released this week in 1997. In 1998, Deeper Underground dropped to number 5 in the UK singles chart. Today in 2001, Jamiroquai performed Little L on Top Of The Pops (UK).
