thanks for the interview! ^^
The next Michael Fish is in the making! I would love to see Jay as the next radio DJ, or even the Mayor of London!!! Hilarious, witty and plenty of common sense!
GREAT interview, as always - Jay is just amazing on radio :) :) :)
But I've got to say that my poor old heart was BROKEN when I heard that Jay was meant to do some Australian promotion today, but he got out of it - JAY, you've got heaps of fans here, we would have loved to have some promotion of HT here - please don't forget about us :) :) :)
SAMANTHA
That was a bit disjointed for me (hadn't a damn clue about half of what they were saying - probably because I'm not British), but I think Jay would make for a good DJ too...
Samantha I'm with you 100% We (Australia) have always been behind Jamiroquai, and there are sooooo many people that dig his music here! My young heart was also broken to hear him say "stuffed it" It would have been worth his while, and more importantly we would have loved it! Jay you cant forget us! instead come camp here ;)
ha ha quality show,2 of the best people gd show I would say!!!
Agree totally with Jamiroquanna, i think i started thinking that Jay should get the job as a DJ when he came on Scott Mills show. Very funny and two tracks (Alright and Runaway) played in one hour what more could you want?
the Kays make a great duo :)
That was very funny but, my god Jay doesn't shut up!! lol. Anyway thanx for the link, David.
Hi there,
At least most of you are in countries on the Jamiroquai bandwagon. There's been no promotion of High Times in the States. I would love to see or hear Jay on American radio!!!
Thanks David
Ze - there has so little in Australia i saw one ad, and its only due to the DJ's natural love of jamiroqaui that it gets played over here. The DJ on radio just now said "God we love jamiroqaui..." and played runaway but thats all we get! wouldnt hurt if sony did more instead of these idol wannabes!
I recently downloaded the the interview in my ipod. It was hilarious. Jay and Vernon make a great team. Jay is a great radio DJ. JK is funny, has great taste in music, cars, and he's perfect. It's sad that it's his last interview.
new funkin.com's desighn looks gooooood .... Happy Early Xmas-New Year times all !!..; )
~David check your myspace : )
Well done sasha from lancaster for putting lancaster on the map i live about 15mins away and you never hear anything on it. The interview was great and they played alright.
I've not seen any promo for HT in the states either :( I got the cd easily enough, but I had to order the dvd off Amazon cuz no one around my area carries it :( Anyway, was GREAT to hear Jay on Radio 1 (via Sirius) again!
Hi Andrew!
Thanks for the reassurance that the US isn't the only country getting shortchanged. It's amazing the lack of radio industry love they get here. Every Jamiroquai concert I've been to is a sell out...I just don't get it...
Ze: I don't live in UK either or the States, I live in Mexico wich is even more forgotten by the band than the States. Here you don't see or hear jami anywhere because most of the people have horrible taste in music (lets face it, they do) and mtv only seems to play stupid emo bands all day long!!.
Believe me, I know it sucks, you're not the only ones who think that way but hey, what's funkin.com for? ;)
Amazing dark voice while talking about James Bond .
Makes me curious how deep Jays singing voice goes ,
for I love basses very much .
I hate rapidshare
