Beverly Knight chooses Dynamite

Added on Friday 23 December 2005, 18:05 (UTC)
The Independent newspaper (UK) recently interviewed various musicians on the albums that have been their soundtrack for the last 12 months.  One of the interviewees is solo singer Beverley Knight, who not only has her own budding career, but was the voice featured on Main Vein and Love Foolosophy from Jamiroquai's A Funk Odyssey in 2001.

Her choice? Dynamite! She briefly speaks on why she chose this album:

"Bands who've been around a while sometimes get overlooked no matter how good the material, and Dynamite is a bit like that. "Feels Just Like It Should" shows they can make unpredictable dirty funk, and "Starchild" has a dead-cert gets-you-first-time groove. It's a record that won't be leaving my car stereo for a while."
