A Funk Odyssey has been nominated for a Doobie Award (Best Dance Album), which are being held in New York on 12th September. The awards honors artists who "reflect the power of marijuana has in music."

Today in 1999, Jamiroquai started their Synkronized tour at the Brighton Centre in England. The concert was held before Synkronized was released in the UK so many of the tracks were heard today for the first time ever.
